Surgery Went Well.

My surgery went well :) I have a three inch incision on my belly where they removed the cyst. They sent it off to the lab. I have internal disolveable stitches and I have paper stitches on the outside. I have to be seen in 10 days for a followup. I have to watch for infection since the cyst caused a major abscess the span of my hand. Since they went in there and cut it out, they want to make sure that it hasn't released anything to cause another infection. So we are watching for that.

After surgery Abe took me to mongolian bbq. It was delish as always. He was very hesitant to try it again after a bad experience at the same resteraunt but a different location. He liked it this round. We had an oppurtunity to talk about some stuff without the kids around and he's been treating me good all day after having the surgery making sure that I'm comfortable and doing alright.

I have no restrictions with the exception of lifting heavy things and operating machinery...so no driving basically while I'm on meds. It hurts like hell at times, okay at others, the tape is annoyingly itchy, but so far I've only had one vicodin and the rest of the time I've been taking advil, minus the excedrin I took this evening for a tension headache. I'll be okay though :)

Anyways that's basically my life right now...

Okay I'm off to bed. I have the trip to the zoo tomorrow. Dr okayed! I think I'll sit in the aquarium while the girls and Abe do the rest of the zoo.
