Been Awhile...

Wow it's been awhile since I've done any amazing and truly wonderful updates, huh? LOL
I've been busy and crazy. I've not felt well myself, I think a touch of pneumonia but that's breaking up now and an ear infection that is lingering a little bit. ::sigh::

We've been busy with various activities. Michelle and I took the girls to Deanna Rose a couple weeks ago. To the park to play and the pool and water fountains. I of course forgot my camera at the water fountains!! I wanted to get soem cool pictures. Maybe next time. I almost took them today, but I'm just busy busy today.

We went blueberry picking with Lisa and Catherine and Clark. That was a lot of fun :) The girls managed to pick enough blueberries and we made two pies with them! I made an oatmeal crunch for the top of them and it was delish! I want to make another one, but I'm sure the blueberry bushes are well picked over now. Blackberry season is almost here, so maybe we can go blackberry picking. There's a great berry patch down south, about 45 minutes from here. It's a nice trip too :) I'd love a blackberry pie!!! :)

Abe and I have been taking the girls on nature trecks at the park. We see all kinds of animals along the creek. We've spotted newts/gecco's whatever you want to call them, mud puppies, frogs, dragon flies, butterflies, fish, tadpoles, crayfish even! :) They have a great time spotting things and rock hopping in the shallow creek. We've been walking some of the less traveled paths and it's just nice walking where it's shaddy but still warm summer days :)

Other news: We got our house fixed up from where the water rotted part of the eaves apart. We are working on the corners and stuff now. It's looking really good. It's nice to know that we wont get any further damage now. We were lucky and it didn't damage anything inside the house at all.

Work has been alright. I work with some major idiots, but hey, I can't complain too loudly, huh? :P~

Hmm... We are getting ready for the Breastfeeding Awareness Week walk. I'm really excited about that!!! We've been having excellent turn outs for our group meetings! I've been really thrilled about that as well. I went to the chapter meeting today. It was nice to see so many older kids at that meeting :) Most of the meetings that is LLL based has a lot of younger kids below my own children's ages. So that was nice :)

I have to bring a co-leader dinner tonight :) She's had a baby and I signed up to send some yummy food. I have a mild chicken curry going in the crock pot right now. YUM :)

I have some sewing to do tonight, but I hope to get a nap in this afternoon before I have to run my errands after dh gets home.

Last monday was crazy! I had six kids!!! I had my normal two daycare charges, and then my three. And then I had M's little girl. M finally moved out of her husbands place and has her own now. I'm so excited for her. She's been living with a coworker of ours and now has her own place. yeah!!! I need to call her and see if she wants to do some more playdates soon. :)
