Quick Update

Things are going really well on the family front. We are finally into a good routine with the girls and school. I can't believe no one missed any classes yet! I really should zip my face though because I know I'm going to jinx myself. I did tell makayla no to her "I don't feel good" a few weeks ago. I knew it was a "I stayed up too late reading and want to sleep more" whine. Heh.

I'm still very happy that Amaya enjoys preschool so much! I think it's great for her!!! I'm very happy that she goes so willingly and so excitedly. I'm glad that all my girls love school and don't fight going. I think the younger two are on a great path of learning :)

We got progress reports already. It's about that time I guess!! It seemed to have flown. Makayla got straight A's!! I'm so proud of her!! She does excellent work! The school psychologist did the IQ assessment with her this week and I go in and discuss with her the results on the 10th.

I've also talked to Mak's music teacher to find out if she'd be ready for some piano or guitar lessons. We have both at home available. She gives discounted lessons of 12/.5hr. Mak reads music really well and has played Elvis songs, Beauty and the Beast and a few other rhymes and fold music on the piano and recorder. Her music teacher is going to try to set up a time to see where Mak would start out as far as that goes and should get back to me. I really hope it works out because Mak has been asking for lessons for quite some time :)

Not much else going on really. Work is work.
