Here's the girls first day of school.
Updates: The girls are doing excellent in school and they love it! Makayla starts band next week. We went and got her music book and I got a new mouth piece for the clarinet and some reeds and few other things. That was a pretty penny. heh. At least it was better than paying for the full instrument. LOL. She'll be using the same clarinet that I learned on. That's pretty cool :) She's really excited. Her music teacher may be doing piano or guitar lessons before school. If she excepts Makayla, we'll let her choose one of those as well. I think that she'll benefit a lot from music lessons. She does wonderful with the piano already and that was self taught. Makayla just finished reading White Fang and scored a 90 on the test. That book is leveled at 8th graders!
Hana is doing well. Still ornery as all get out. She is reading and writing really well. She loves school and enjoys going. Her hand writing is absolutely atrocious. Just like her father's. ha! She's addicted to animal crossing and she's still having troubles with settling down to sleep. She's a complete ham. A funny funny girl and she brightens my day all day long.
Amaya is growing up quickly. She is loving school all day long, however it's really showing how tiring it is. She tends to be tired and mopey after school until it's bed time. If we go in the car after school she is quick to fall asleep. She mentions that she sometimes gets sleepy in her afternoon specials. She's adjusting really well though.
That's it for an update for now. I'm wiped out and think I'm going to go to bed early tonight. or try anyways. Love to our family and friends,
