Ready for an Update?

Gosh, it's been awhile. It's been really crazy around here. My job situation became hostile...It's been crazy and wild and I'm finally able to announce that I have left walmart. yeah!!

I'm now working as a customer care representative for a well known pharmaceutical company. Upon hire and afterwards talking I think I want to get onto the behavioral analytics part of the company. The pay is awesome! The benefits are superb! I was able to sneak in by the hair of my chinny chin chin. I was recommended and went in for an interview and they hired me pretty much the same day. The best thing of my new job is that it covers up to 5,000 in education reimbursements, so I can go ahead and get another degree or build on the one I already hold. I'm pretty psyched about that in itself. The medications that I now pay 150/tri-month for will now only be 30! :D Any generics that I get will be free. Of course my regular medication has to be all name brand because they don't make generics for it yet.... ::sigh:: ha.

The stinky thing is that the hours kind of suck. Right now I'm working 8-5 mon through Fri. Those are perfect normal working hours for most people. They are alright. But it's only for training. I have about 6 more weeks of training to go through. Once training is complete I'll be doing the hours of 11:30-8. I'll totally miss dinner with my family and will be getting home as the girls are getting ready for bed. I'm really sad about that, but every six months there are schedule rotations and I hope to get more of a 10-6 or a 9-5 ish schedule. That way I can still get them on the bus in the morning and be home more at night with them as well. But until then we still don't have to do daycare and they are still with one of their parents. So it's going to be all good. Right now my mom is watching them at her house for the summer and has agreed to on school vacations as well. That's a huge help and I don't have to worry about them in a daycare situation. My mom is awesome and has been so helpful and calming during this transition.

I think it'll be a good change overall.

The saddest was saying goodbye to c and c, the little ones I babysat for. I miss them terribly and I have a picture of them at my desk along with my kiddies. I love those kids and it's so sad hearing my kiddies ask if it's a C day. :( I miss them lots :*(

Hey B, I saw you driving into the meadows. I must of been behind you for miles. heh. Rush hour and then backstreet driving. I waved, but didn't think you'd care, so I just kept on driving. Perhaps we'll commute again sometime.

Update on the girls: They are doing really well. Hana took a bit to adjust, but she's doing really well now. Makayla loves going to my mom's so it's all good and dandy for her. Amaya cries when I leave to go to work, but she did that before the job change too, so I guess she's going with the flow.

Not much else on the news front. Some day I'll spill out the miserable life of my past job, but I've been in a really good mood for the last week, decided not to show up for my second week of my 2 week notice and had a good weekend with the fam. I'm rested and ready to dive into next week. yeah :)
