And The Update:
30 December 2007Posted by Mother Faerie @ Sunday, December 30, 2007 Only THREE more days until surgery! whoop! Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything...On one hand I am, on the other I'm freaked out, but hey, that's life in general, right?
Below you can see the pictures of the kids on Christmas. They all made out like bandits, we had a nice dinner at mom's although the rest of the day turned quite interesting. The kids were well behaved and enjoyed all their gifts. I was very impressed with how well Hana did considering all the people in and out.
Everyone around me as been ill and by some odd miracle I have been spared any illness thus far aside a minor ear infection that required antibiotics. :) I'm hoping the antibiotics for that is fending off anything else that people around me are harboring. I need to stay healthy!
I started my new shift at work and I'm not sure about this whole ten hour day thing. It's only two more hours than I normally would be there, and it does save me a day of commuting and gas, but I think I'll need to give my body time to adjust to the chaos of such a change. I get out at 9:30 and the kids are sleeping when I get in. It makes me sad, but at the same time I get an extra day with them, and still the mornings :D
I'm thinking about getting another degree. Either teaching or pharmacy. I'm not sure which direction I want to go. But nonetheless, I'm aiming for something different. If I go through the pharmacy school then my work will cover it and I can move up in the company that way. It wouldn't be so bad and I have job security. On the other hand working school hours would be optimal for family life.. work while kids are in school, home otherwise.
