Definitely Time to Update!

I guess I have a week of updates to do!! LOL :P~
Last Thursday Abe and I took the girls to the new water park in Bonner Springs. It was awesome! They have a great kiddie area with fountains, buckets of water pouring, etc. In the 2.5-3 ft water they have floating islands and the kids really enjoyed sitting on those and falling off, holding on, and all that. Mak enjoyed the deeper water, the jungle gym over the water and of course the waterslides! I stuck out the deep water while Abe stayed in the low end. The man is lead and sinks. heh. I took Makayla down the slides at least a dozen times. It was lots of fun :) No pictures, but I think next time I'll bring a water camera! Despite a layer of sunscreen I got so burnt!!! :( Abe got a bit red on his nose, but otherwise unphased. The girls were fine with the sunscreen. Why me and my Irish skin?! LMAO.

Friday I met up with Charlene and Geeky and Sonia and the kids. We went to the Kansas City zoo and we had a blast! It was so hot and I was miserable from the sunburn and carrying Clark in the ABC. ::sigh:: The indoor play area was a nice break. Poor Hana had the worse melt down over a scrape that wouldn't stop bleeding...but it only wouldn't stop bleeding because she kept wiping it with the wipe! And then she dropped her little petshop bunny and that caused another melt down from hell. By the time lunch rolled around, she finally relaxed. I risked it and took all the kids to the grocery store (Mak was at grams, so I had my younger two and the two I sit) and it was thankfully uneventful...

......BUT when I got home I dropped a gallon jar of pickles all over the driveway! What a mess! I then got a call from Abe saying he was in a wreck. I wont even go there...

....work Friday night was a nice escape to say the least...

Saturday at work I slipped and fell on my butt and then my head. Not cool. Went home early. Had a headache from that for a few days.

Managed to work Sunday despite.

Monday night was way too long for a NR night. No one packed up and broke down the PDQ's from last week and that made it quite miserable. I hate counting the movies. It takes too much time and it's tedious and miserable and annoying. I didn't get out of there until 3:30 in the freaking morning!! I was so mad. When I got home I couldn't sleep for nothing!!! I finally managed to fall asleep about 5 but I had to get up at 7 with the kids!! :(

Tuesday...blah. long day, no sleep. I was able to go home from work an hour early though because the night manager took pity on me and knew that I was there way too long the day before....

Wednesday...ahhh :) nice day off. Didn't feel too good though, just off. Nothing major. I managed to get to the library to pick up the book I ordered. Rebel Angels by Bray! I read the first: A great and terrible beauty awhile ago and I've been waiting for the sequel to become available...finally! yeah :) Which means I have to stop in the middle of the book I'm currently reading to read this one, but oh, well.

Last night we watched 50 first dates and it was such a lovely story. I smiled and cried. I thought it was so sweet that someone could love someone else so unconditionally. I guess you just don't see that too often in real life.

Still watching Big Brother European style. hahahha! Lisa I hope you are voted out!

Today we took the kids to see Cars! It was awesome!!! I highly recommend it!!! :) I am so buying the DVD when it comes out. The girls were awesome in the theatre and thought the bag of popcorn was all that. We don't do the movies that often with them....

We then took the kids to the park. I got some pictures so I'll share those in a few minutes. I managed to draw some today. I'm pretty happy with two of the pictures. I can't wait to mess around with them on the computer.

got to sew a couple of slings and a few quilts and my new bag. So signing off. pictures to follow. Hope you are all well.
