I had my biopsy done on friday. That was hell. I didn't believe it was going to hurt so much. It's a good thing I took advil before the appt! heh. I'm still waiting on the results. I hope they call soon.

I was diagnosed with PCOS and Menorrgia (heavy and prolonged bleeding). The biopsy will tell us if a hysterectomy is in order. They are testing for polyps and where the endometrium grows into the muscle wall where an ablation wouldn't be a good option. They are also testing for cancer. Yuck. Who want's to hear the "C" word :( Hopefully I just have overactive cycles and an ablation will do the trick.

I am currently on hormones to help get my cycles on track and to decrease the thickening of my endometrium. It's way too thick than it should be. They are hoping to schedule the ablation in Feb or March. I need several months of hormones. On the surgery day they are going to do a hysteroscopy, a DNC, and then the ablation for hopefully the best results. Of course if my biopsy comes back bad, then we'll be looking at a hysterectomy before the end of the year. ::sigh::

The girls are doing well. Jacks is also doing well. Off to upload my pictures :)
